Express Entry

Express entry is an application process for skilled immigrants who want to settle in Canada permanently and take part in the economy.

All applicants make an expression of interest and are entered into a pool of applications. Highest ranked Candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence almost every two weeks. Skilled workers are chosen based on their skills and ability to contribute to Canada’s economy.

Express Entry manages applications for three economic immigration programs:

Provinces and territories can also recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) to meet local labour market needs.
